Strychnine Kiss 1992 - 1997

Following the demise of legendary Moreno Valley, California bands Foundation and Optic Rain, synth-geek songwriters Nathan Van Hala and Stevil sought a viable outlet for their creativity. With the addition of John Pereyra on guitar, Kristen Van Hala on flute, and Kayvon on bass, the band forged a unique sound in the burgeoning inland empire alternative music scene. This site is intended to document that activity for the appreciation of those who remember it, as well as the fans who have come since, and to provide a musical segue into our current projects.
